Backwards Blogging

Since mid-February I have been out of town. A lot. I now have a goal to not leave town until 4th of July family vacation!! We'll see how this goes! And now I will attempt to play blog catch up.

I spent last weekend in Florida visiting bff Chad. Beckie joined me and we had our "Best Friends Annual Road Trip" at the beach. It was glorious, and involved nothing but beach, pool, movies, and eating.

 

Chad lives at this apartment that is nicer than any resort I've ever been to. This is his backyard.

Chad and I have this joke about how many airport encounters we have had. There have been a lot: DC in 2000, Cancun in 2008, Puerto Rico in 2009, Florida in 2010 and 2012, a billion trips to the SLC airport...

We went to some trendy restaurant that required a one hour wait to make our burgers after we ordered them. Yikes! Gave us plenty of time for photo shoots while we waited to eat dinner until 10:30 p.m.....

 Another trip highlight was going grocery shopping and seeing BLUE BELL ICE CREAM!! I did not know they sold it in Florida! I definitely bought some and we ate most of it over the next two days...umm...

 I love these people!! Can't wait to go back!
