I am living in my grandma's house in Salt Lake for the summer. When my brother James was in town for graduation we stayed here and he introduced me to the world of macro photography. Grandma's house was a perfect place to use our new skills and digital cameras...here are a few highlights.

This is one of my grandmother's necklaces.

I have to admit I find that very cool. What setting do you set your camera to in order to achieve the effect? (In addition to zooming/being close)
ReplyDeleteThere should be a flower somewhere on your digital camera settings. If you can use the flower setting--that is macro, and it will focus on stuff. If you push the picture-taking button halfway before you take the picture, it will show you how it will look focused.
