A Very Euless Reunion

Some of you may not have had the pleasure of visiting Euless, Texas, the land of my birth. Russell has the great fortune of living a mere twenty minutes from Euless, so when I went to visit him a couple of weeks ago we made the trek to Euless for the first time in twenty years! Luckily my mom came up from Austin to be our tour guide.

First stop: the house of my infancy.

Then we stopped by a playground near the community pool we used to frequent. Victoria was a fan, even though she (and everyone else) just really wanted to go swimming.

Then we finally made it to my FAVORITE restaurant as a child. This was a long time coming...we drove through Austin trying to find another one and it was closed. But luckily the Euless location was still thriving!

I remember as a kid thinking I could only get two things from the buffet because my meal was cheaper than adults...and then seeing James order a lot of stuff and realizing he is a genius.

Everyone loved it

Dad told us to avoid this place...Mom explained why. Oh, Euless.

Pancho's really is the highlight of Euless. After that, there was nothing else to do all weekend but play with Russell's two little girls!!

Check out these cute sisters

Cute sleeping baby!

Also a highlight was my first time skyping. We skyped James' family in Idaho, and Harris asked Russell to use his webcam to show his xbox. A dance-off between Victoria and Will also ensued. Awesome.

  1. We loved skyping. We'll have to do it again soon. We are sorry we missed out on Euless. Someday.
