one of my husband's friends is a geneologist, so we recently had him look up our families...we now have HUNDREDS of names to take through the temple. (my husband is a convert--the only member in his family.) and we discovered that some of my lines go back to adam and eve. plus, i'm a descendant of danish royals.
You might want to talk to your grandfather, he has all kinds of information.
