August 21, 2008Yesterday I had the best cab ride of my entire life. Five minutes into the ride, our driver--who we were quite enjoying speaking broken English with and who had just told us he enjoys basketball, soccer, and drinking--pulled over. He put on his hazards, said something about "W.C." and sprinted out of the car and into the woods. Nature calls!!!
After he returned, he asked us if we could speak Mandarin. (Bethany pulled out her always a hit one-liner "I love you" in Mandarin) and he replied "welcome". Then he blasted some rap music and we all danced. And when he finally dropped us off he told Bethany "I love you, too."
I read this first and thought it was in D.C. Read it through and try to think that, you'll love it.
