I have great plans to finish writing about China, because it's about to get good.
Russell has a job interview in Pittsburgh today, so he flew there on Saturday and I drove up to pick him up at the airport, cheesesteaks in tow. We then spent a day with his in-laws (who coincidentally live in Pittsburgh), enjoying Conference. It was great fun and I was sad to leave, especially when Russell called me last night as I was driving away and said his hotel was nice and we could get free room service (courtesy of the law firm).
My dear friend Janae is a 4th year med student at Univ of Maryland and she is doing a rotation at a hospital nearish to my house. So, it's like a two week slumber party!
Tomorrow three of my friends from law school are coming for a week! The law school has a week off every semester to go interview--or to come visit the east. They will check out the museums and have tours while I'm at work, and then on Thursday evening we're heading to NYC. Luckily I have Friday off and Monday is Columbus Day! It will be great.
In January Jackie is coming to visit...check out her blog for why: http://1350cranes.blogspot.com/2008/09/and-season-begins.html
I AM SO EXCITED!!
And in two weeks I am heading to Utah to get sworn in as a real lawyer.
You are so cool, you're like a real grown up person!
ReplyDeletehey--who's coming to visit you? I'm kind of jealous
ReplyDeleteWe might be out there in the spring.. Would you pick us up from the airport with cheesesteaks?
ReplyDeleteRachel, how exciting for me to realize that, duh, you are blogging! I am so dumb sometimes. Congratulations on being sworn in...you are officially my hero!
