Oh yeah.

Forgot to mention I just got the best calling ever: Marriage Prep Teacher!! It's a sunday school class in our ward. I'm so excited!! I'm going to buy Ring Pops for everyone in the class...it worked so well when I was RSP and I made the Relief Society theme "2005: Husbands arrive" and gave everyone ring pops. 1/3 of those girls got engaged that semester.

  1. I'm definitely coming to your class. Bring on the ring pops!

  2. I was a benficiary of that generosity. Question - what is your theme for 08? (I believe in the themes - clear back to Date More 2004.)

  3. "2008—Find a mate" would be just too easy. "2008—Find your fate"? Or, depending on the average age of the ward, "2008—It's not too late!"

  4. The themes:

    2004: single no more

    2005: husbands arrive

    2006: no dating for kicks

2007: bound on earth, bound in heaven

    2008: no one to date

    2009: it's about time!

  5. Rachel -- I can only imagine how good of a teacher you will be! Some day I am going to your ward just to hear you teach!

  6. 2008: No more wait. Though, might not work, given that it's already the end of October.

Also, my old roommate saw you at church last week when you gave the prayer. Small world.

  8. Oh, Rachel. Your themes are CLASSIC! Everyone in the office was wondering why I was laughing so hard. I'm sad I'm on the other end of the country and can't go to your class.
