Moving Day

I am moving to D.C. in the morning. It was funny when I realized I have divided my life exactly into thirds:

0-9: lived in Euless, Texas
9-18: lived in Austin, Texas
18-27: lived in Provo, Utah (well...mostly)

It's beyond me that I've spent a third of my life in Provo. I have loved it more than I thought imaginable, and it is beyond sad to leave. But it appears that, keeping with tradition, I must leave as my nine years are up!! We'll see if I stay in D.C. until I'm 36!

And just a word to the wise: never, ever try moving when you are jet lagged!! I got back from China Sunday night, spent Monday and Tuesday saying good-bye to everyone I've known in Utah and spent today packing. I start work next Tuesday, so it's time to take off. Luckily I have a lot of friends living between here and D.C. so I will have a great trip seeing old roommates--and my bff Krystal is joining me for the drive.

Oh yes--and lots of China stories are to come...soon!
