As I enjoy this glorious day of 9 June, I realize that 9 May 2006 never happened in my life (thanks to the international date line and my flight to Australia). So, I would like to take a moment to ponder what might have occured on that lost day:
I would have:
- met my future husband
- found $1,000 in my jeans
- been offered my dream job for post-graduation
- or, even better, been told that my stellar performance during my first year of law school exempted me from having to take finals the next two years.
- been given a lot of free food
If only I hadn't missed it!! At least August 2nd will last for 40+ hours.
