Birthday Palooza!

My birthday this year has been the gift that keeps on giving. I had my official birthday party last Thursday at the temple. This is my new tradition and it is awesome. Someone at the temple heard about it and thought it was such a good idea that they sent me a giftcard to the Cheesecake Factory. Random. But delicious!

Last weekend Bethany took me to brunch for my birthday. Monday I showed up to work and my boss said she was taking me to lunch for my birthday. Tuesday was my actual birthday and I blessedly worked from home in my pajamas and taught Institute. My roommate made me dinner and then after Institute people sang and brought my presents and then my friend Naseem showed up with the biggest cupcake of all time!

My co-workers and I had big plans to get this chocolate treasure chest from Serendipity in DC for my birthday.  It looks amazing. We called and called many times over the past two weeks, and Serendipity failed us. again. I had tried to go a few weeks go and after ordering the treasure chest a manager came out and said they didn't have it. ??? Anyway, last night after the temple my buddy David told me to come over to his house, and look what he had made!!!!!

Chocolate treasure chest! yay!!! So I was eating that until midnight...

Then at work we improvised with this smorgasbord. 

Moral of this post: my birthday has involved a lot of chocolate. I feel kind of ill.
