Europe Tips?
I haven't been on a big international trip since China almost 4 years ago, so I was contemplating going to Europe. Well, suddenly I am going in two months! Flying to Vienna and then eight days later leaving from Prague (with a day layover in Frankfurt). Wondering if anyone has any tips!!

Ahh!!! I love Europe!!! With only eight days, it might be tough to do too much, but get to Salzburg if you can. Even if you don't love Mozart or The Sound of Music, you will be amazed by its beauty. A very colorful town in the midst of the Alps. So awesome!
ReplyDeleteVienna is super interesting if you're into the Hapsburgs at all, or like music. Some great art and science museums, and St Stephen's is unlike most churches you will ever see.
I haven't been to Prague, so no tips there. :(

ReplyDeleteAlso, northern Italy is pretty fantastic. Eight days is short but doable. Just stay in at least 2 star hotels, if possible. They're not that great, but you'll have your own bathroom, complimentary breakfast, and lockable storage. Hostels, while cheaper, do not offer these things.

ReplyDeleteI don't have any tips, but somehow it's fitting that you would think of the idea and then suddenly be propelled into seeing it come to fruition. Have a blast!
