I believe in miracles

Let me tell you about my day.

First, I had to call Virginia Taxes since I did my taxes in January and still hadn't gotten my refund! The guy on the phone said it had taken a while since they had to change something on my taxes. I was bummed that I was going to get less of a refund than I thought, but was fine--I just wanted to get something back! At the end of the conversation, he said my refund would be submitted today and it was for $400 MORE than I thought!

Then I had to go to Costco to get a receipt for my GPS since it wasn't working and I needed to prove it was still under warranty. Instead, Costco just refunded my GPS and I bought another one there for $70 less!

My last errand was to go to Old Navy to buy this shirt I LOVE and was hoping it was on sale. I walked into the store, and it was the first thing I saw--on display because it's the item of the week and half-price! WOOHOO!

Just realized all of these things that made me so happy have to do with money. UH OH!

  1. I'm SO happy for you! I LOVE when your taxes are more than you thought they'd be (been there). I LOVE Costco's return policy (same exact scenario happened w/ vacuum). I LOVE great sales on clothes! I hope you're going to be a little irresponsible w/ all that extra money and go eat an expensive, mouth-watering dinner out tonight, (or you can just save it to take us all out on Monday. It's really your choice).

    Also, I love that song.
