Is Bethany racist?

When I moved to D.C., Bethany told me how I HAD to meet her co-worker Ji Eun. Apparently Ji Eun reminded Bethany so much of my beloved bff, Sang. I met Ji Eun a couple of weeks later, and like Sang she is cute and funny and...KOREAN! Sang was in D.C. this week and met up with Bethany and me for lunch yesterday. Bethany decided that Ji Eun and Sang HAD to meet. It was one of this funniest/most potentially awkward/surprisingly zero awkward experiences of my life!

Ji Eun was doubly excited because she is pregnant and is also married to a white guy and she was worried what her baby would look like. We told her that Sang's baby Chase is ADORABLE. When she saw Chase and how cute he is, she was relieved for her future baby's cuteness. Apparently now this picture is her computer wall paper at work.

Sang's husband found this encounter most bizarre, and afterward told us how once he and Chase were at the mall and when they walked by the nail salon Chase ran towards it and started yelling "Mama!" hahahahahahahaha.
