It's Conference Time!

I love General Conference. This past weekend it was wonderful. My rooomates were out of town (yes, all five of them) and I was able to enjoy a delightful weekend in a quiet, empty house, listening to the words of the servants of God. perfection.

One of the big themes of Conference was the temple, and attending the temple. I loved hearing about the temple and the importance of temple work! I love the temple! I have started doing family history work and doubling my efforts to attend the temple (and bring others with me to help do the work). It has been a marvelous experience.

How was your conference weekend?

  1. LOVED Conference. I was out of town too, but it was so nice to watch and listen. Loved the slideshowe of President Monson at the end of Sunday morning session.

  2. I was on call all weekend, and then when I WAS home, my computer died and needs windows reinstalled, etc, etc, so we went to the Cherry Blossom Festival instead. Gah!

  3. You're going to be a better stake president now because you are a temple worker.

  4. Any MORE temple attendance, and you'll be translated.

As a safety measure, you may want to start throwing one piece of trash on the ground per week or tailgate someone on the way to work.

  5. Glorious. I was thinking with all the new temples that have been built and dedicated in Utah now that it would be pretty hard to see them all in one summer...
