A blog that fulfilled its purposes when I left Australia, but (sporadically) continues on to appease my family.

Now you've got to come!
Yesterday I was late to my midterm because I was meeting with one of the deans. In our meeting, the dean told me I had been nominated by my peers and approved by the faculty, and I was asked to speak at graduation! It should be fun!
that's amazing!!!! I really hate going to graduations. At Scott's, this student that spoke talked about traveling around somewhere expensive and how it was an amazing experience. I hated it. You'll do much better!
I will come dressed in a Santa suit and call you "Sweetums" loudly from the back of the auditorium if you want. Who knows, maybe it will make you more at ease while you speak. Congrats!
Rachel! Congratulations. I came across your blog somewhat randomly (have I already told you this?) and browse it every now and then to see what you're up to (is that creepy?). I still can't believe you're almost done with law school -- I'm absolutely AMAZED at all you have accomplished. I'd love to hear from you sometime -- brittanycandrian@hotmail.com
You know, this doesn't surprise me at all! I am really excited to come and hear an original not-too-law-school-focused speech. I am MORE than a little nervous however about what is going to happen to you after you graduate! Where will you go! This is going to test the strength of my marriage...because I just can't follow you everywhere! How sad!
RACHEL. ELIZABETH. MURDOCK. I always knew you'd be a celebrity. And at Law School Graduation! WOW! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteNow, here's the real question...what are you going to wear?
xoxo
